UNDERSTAND The Holy Quran Classes offered in Gatesville, Cape Town in 2026

We shall be offering the Understand Al-Quran Course after Ramadhaan this year, from 24 March - 24 November 2026 at the Masjidul Quds Mosque in Gatesville.

This course will be offered on Tuesday evenings between 7 - 9 pm, In-Sha-Allah!  Although 2 hours are allocated, the class time will most probably be around 1 hour and 30 minutes, since we shall obviously have one or two breaks during the times of Maghrib & Ishaa' salaah.

Read & Write ARABIC in 4 Weeks - before Ramadhan 2026!

Read & Write Arabic in 4 Weeks!

From: 27 January - 17 February 2026

(We've decided to offer this course over 4 weeks (instead of the 10 weeks, previously advertised during 2025 - The reason for this is:  Students will have the opportunity to take the Understand Al-Quran Course after this, during which the rest of the skills will be developed)

THE COURSE WILL COVER THE FOLLOWING:

1.       Reading & Writing all the letters of the Arabic Alphabet in their different forms;

2.       Reading & Writing 100s of words and phrases found in Al-Qurãn (with understanding);

3.       Understanding the Makhãrij (Place of Articulation) of all letters;

4.       Reading with proper Tajwĩd;

5.       Reading & Writing Simple Arabic Sentences (with understanding).

THE COURSE IS AIMED AT ABSOLUTE BEGINNERS, IE. PEOPLE WHO:

1.       Cannot Read the Arabic Alphabet;

2.       Cannot Read Arabic Words;

3.       Can Read, but cannot Write Arabic;

4.       Cannot Read Al- Qurãn with Tajwĩd;

5.       Cannot identify the different words in Al- Qurãn;

6.       Do not understand Arabic at all.

New Arabic Courses in Gatesville, Cape Town during 2026

 The following courses will be presented during this year 2026:

1.  Read & Write Arabic - This course is aimed at students who cannot read or write anything in Arabic;

2.  Understand The Noble Quran - This course is aimed at Beginners who can read the Arabic Script;

3.  Speak Arabic Today - This course will teach new students how to successfully and confidently Speak Arabic;

4.  How to Successfully Study Arabic - This short course will guide the student to use a variety of skills, strategies and apps to successfully study the Arabic Language whether they attend physical or online classes, or study completely on their own.
