Lesson One: Read & Write Names in Arabic

Assalaamu Alaykum Everyone!

This Video Lesson (Lesson One) is aimed at Absolute Beginners (People who cannot Read or Write the Arabic Script).  This is the 1st Video Lesson in this Series - in which we show you how to Read and Write Names like Achmad, Anwar and Ashraf (أحمد ، أنور ، أشرف) correctly in the Arabic Script.  These names are all on the Af'al (أفعل) Pattern or Scale.

Although the full names will be covered to assist newcomers to the Arabic Language on their journey towards reading and writing anything in the Arabic Script, this 1st video will focus on the [a]-sound in Arabic.  We therefore show a few variations of how the [a]-sound will appear in Arabic writing, bearing in mind that each consonant in Arabic normally has at least four variations depending on its position in a word.  The [a]-sound (being a vowel) can be represented with and without consonants!  This knowledge will greatly assist the Beginner Student on his/ her road to mastering Arabic Reading & Writing!

Enjoy your journey towards Reading & Writing anything in Arabic!
